The Arizona Cardinals on Monday released three undrafted rookies, dropping the roster below the 80-man limit and giving the team the ability to make additions if needed.
Arizona announced that it has cut offensive lineman Jake Benzinger, safety Reggie Floyd and wide receiver Rashad Medaris.
That leaves eight undrafted rookies left on the roster: CB Jace Whittaker (Arizona), WR JoJo Ward (Hawaii), RB Jonathan Ward (Central Michigan), OLB Reggie Walker (Kansas State), DE Adam Shuler (Florida), CB Zane Lewis (Air Force), OL Steven Gonzalez (Penn State) and TE Ryan Becker (SMU).
The Cardinals previously released a group of 10 players to get the roster down to the new 80-roster limit that was mandated as a change this year due to the coronavirus.
Arizona remains in the beginning stages of training camp in Tempe that includes virus testing and conditioning to prepare for full workouts planned for later in the month at State Farm Stadium.
