The Arizona Diamondbacks announced Friday that the team’s postponed game on Thursday against the Colorado Rockies will be made up in a doubleheader on Sept. 25.

The Rockies decided to not play on Thursday, joining several teams across several leagues in doing the same after the police shot James Blake seven times in the back in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Sunday.

The Milwaukee Bucks started that motion on Wednesday, boycotting Game 5 of their playoff series against the Orlando Magic in the afternoon. The rest of the NBA’s games that day were also boycotted, and then the league chose to postpone Wednesday’s games and the following two days as well. After meetings between the players and owners, the NBA will resume play on Saturday.

On that Wednesday, the two other MLB games with a late start time besides Arizona’s in both San Diego and Los Angeles were both postponed due to the Dodgers and Seattle Mariners sitting out. The D-backs and Rockies, however, went on to play. The Milwaukee Brewers were the first MLB team to not play earlier that afternoon, marking three games total for Wednesday that were postponed.

Seven total games on Thursday including Arizona’s were also not played.

On Thursday, the D-backs had originally decided to play before the Rockies’ decision came down. As part of their plan to voice support for social justice and equality, the team was going to donate their game checks and wear black jerseys the rest of the homestand.

The D-backs’ series in late September against Colorado is their last of the season, and will now be four games as opposed to three. The original first pitch for the priorly scheduled game on Sept. 25 was at 6:40 p.m. and the team announced the first game of the doubleheader will be at 3:40 p.m.
