Cardinals could give up first round pick for a quarterback

Cardinals general manager Rod Graves said Monday the team is not opposed to trading a 2012 high draft choice in order to bring a quarterback to Arizona.
Graves joined Sports 620 KTAR’s Gambo and Ash show to address the Cardinals draft and what direction the team is moving in.
Eight players were selected by Arizona over the weekend, but there is still a huge void at quarterback.
Veteran Marc Bulger has been linked recently with a move to the desert, but Graves said there is a possibility of trading a first round pick for a passer, comments that would help fuel speculation about Eagles backup Kevin Kolb.
“I would say that we would certainly have to take a strong look at it, we’re not opposed to doing that,” the Cardinals general manager said of trading a pick.
“We’d have to take a strong look at it but we are open to a lot of different scenarios. It certainly may entail us having to give up a high round draft choice in order to make a trade successful if we are in that situation.”
