San Francisco 49ers wide receiver and former Arizona State Sun Devil Brandon Aiyuk saw his first NFL game snaps in Week 2. While head coach Kyle Shanahan noted the rookie still has some work to do following his NFL debut, Aiyuk did manage to haul in two catches for 21 yards.
Here’s a look at the rest of the Sun Devils who took the field in Week 2:
Zane Gonzalez
After making just one of his three attempts in Week 1, Cardinals kicker Zane Gonzalez couldn’t miss against the Washington Football Team on Sunday.
Converting all three of his field goal tries and extra points, Gonzalez accounted for 12 of the team’s 30 points. He’s now 4-of-6 for the season, including a 56-yard boot, a career high, in Week 1.
D.J. Foster
Cardinals running back D.J. Foster saw two snaps on special teams before going down with a quadricep injury on Sunday. He was placed on the team’s practice squad injured list after the game.
N’Keal Harry
Patriots wide receiver N’Keal Harry had one of his best days as a pro in the team’s 35-30 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Harry was targeted a team-high 12 times and was second on the team in receptions with eight. He was also second on the Patriots in receiving yards (72).
Lawrence Guy
Patriots defensive lineman Lawrence Guy recored two tackles and two QB hits Sunday night. He saw 71% of the defensive snaps and 43% on special teams.
Matt Haack
Miami Dolphins punter Matt Haack was busy on Sunday. The punter booted five punts, averaging 52.4 yards. Haack’s longest of the day was 63 yards. He also flipped the field three times, putting the Buffalo Bills inside the 20-yard line three times.
Kalen Ballage
The New York Jets running back had an underwhelming debut for his new team. Kalen Ballage ran the rock just one time for five yards and caught two balls for 12 yards. It appears Ballage suffered a rib injury in Sunday’s loss to the 49ers, leaving his status up in the air for Week 3.
Jamil Douglas
The Tennessee Titans guard was inactive for a second straight week.
Eno Benjamin
The Cardinals running back was inactive for a second straight week.
