Aiyuk missed the team’s season opener against the Arizona Cardinals with a hamstring injury that he sustained during training camp.
The former All-Pac-12 receiver had catches for 21 yards in his NFL debut against the New York Jets on Sept. 20.
Aiyuk and the 49ers will host the Cardinals on Dec. 27, in the team’s penultimate game of the regular season.
He spent two seasons in Tempe, finishing his ASU career with 98 receptions, 1,666 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also had a punt return touchdown during his senior campaign in 2019.
Aiyuk was selected by the 49ers in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, joining former teammate Eno Benjamin as the two Sun Devils that were chosen.
