Inside the Box: D-backs start slow but end up with win

After every Arizona Diamondbacks game we’ll examine the
box score and provide you with instant analysis. So it’s
time to go Inside the Box for April 10, 2011: Diamondbacks 10, Reds 8

The Good:

In the bottom of the 8th inning with the Diamondbacks down 7-6 they scored four runs — three of them on a three-run home run by Chris Young — to take a 10-7 lead. They held on to win the game 10-8.

The Bad:

Diamondbacks starter Joe Saunders only lasted three innings and did not get a decision in the game. Saunders gave up six hits and walked five guys as he struggled with his control.

The Funky:

The Diamondbacks 10 runs came on 10 RBIs from three players. Chris Young had four RBI and Stephen Drew and Ryan Roberts each had three RBI.
