2021 MLB Draft order set, per report: Diamondbacks to pick 6th

The order for the 2021 MLB Draft has been set by 2020 winning percentage, reports ESPN’s Jeff Passan, and with the reduced 2020 regular season ending Sunday, that locked in the first-round picks.
The Arizona Diamondbacks, who stumbled to the worst record in the NL West, will select sixth overall due to their 25-35 mark on the year.
They pick behind the Pittsburgh Pirates, Texas Rangers, Detroit Tigers, Boston Red Sox and Baltimore Orioles. Like the D-backs, the Orioles finished with a 25-35 record, but the teams’ 2019 records will reportedly act as a tiebreaker.
Because of the Astros’ sign-stealing scandal, Houston will not have first- or second-round picks. The Astros finished the 60-game regular season at 29-31 and would have selected 16th.
That means the 29 first-round picks will go as follows:
