The Cardinals have signed tight end Evan Baylis to the team’s practice squad, Arizona announced Tuesday.
The 6-foot-5, 250-pound tight end played in five games with the Green Bay Packers last season. He recorded three special team tackles.
Baylis was released by Green Bay following training camp on Sept. 5.
Baylis, 26, entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon in 2017, signing on with the Houston Texans. He played in one game as a rookie.
The tight end has also been a practice squad member on the Texans, Colts, Panthers and Packers.
Before his time in the NFL, Baylis played four seasons with the Ducks. In 25 games played, Baylis recorded 44 catches for 511 receptions and three touchdowns.
Baylis will wear No. 89.
