Justin Turner was interviewed as he played 3B in a playoff game

Well, there’s an in-game interview and then there’s an in-game interview.
In a move that’s really quite unclear as to how it was possibly deemed a good idea, Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner was speaking with the ESPN broadcasting crew as he was out on the field.
Yes, like, as he was playing third base during Game 1 of the Dodgers’ National League Wild Card Series against the Milwaukee Brewers.

MLB has experimented with this type of stuff before during spring training games, talking to guys during at-bats for fun, but it’s bizarre to do during a game that has true meaning.
Turner was even having trouble with his earpiece. What if Turner had made an error that costs the Dodgers the game because he has these people babbling in his ear, or he gets some bad, screeching feedback?
Obviously, this did not at all lead to good content and responses from Turner, because he was locked in on the playoff baseball game he was in the middle of.
The interview continued, even when Turner was on-deck.
