The Arizona Cardinals announced Saturday that they have elevated tight end Evan Baylis and safety Curtis Riley to the active roster ahead of their Week 5 matchup against the New York Jets.
Baylis played five games with Green Bay last season, recording three special teams tackles. The tight end went undrafted out of Oregon in 2017, and has spent time on the practice squads of the Texans, Colts, Panthers and Packers.
The Cardinals cut Riley on Tuesday, before re-signing him to the practice squad on Wednesday. The safety has played in three games, recording seven tackles, with the Cardinals this season and saw his first start for the team last week against Carolina. Riley has previously played in 43 games over three seasons for the Tennessee Titans, New York Giants and the then-Oakland Raiders.
The Cardinals and Jets are scheduled to kick off at MetLife Stadium 10 a.m. on Sunday.
