Arizona Cardinals safety Chris Banjo and tight end Jordan Thomas will not suit up against the New York Jets on Sunday, while tight end Darrell Daniels and defensive tackle Jordan Phillips will play.
Banjo (hamstring) had limited work in practices Thursday and Friday, while Phillips traveled with the Cardinals and was day-to-day with an illness.
Early Sunday morning, Phillips tweeted a sign he would play through his sickness.

Head coach Kliff Kingsbury seemed optimistic on Friday that Daniels (thigh) would be able to play against New York. Daniels went through practice in full on Friday.
With Thomas, the third tight end, sitting out, the team elevated practice squad tight end Evan Baylis to the active roster on Saturday.
Arizona also elevated safety Curtis Riley from the practice squad. He started last week but was released and re-signed. Riley will play behind Budda Baker, who is back after missing a week due to thumb surgery.
Deionte Thompson will start at the other safety position.
Thomas was not listed on the injury report for Arizona this week. Joining him on the Cardinals’ inactives list against the Jets is outside linebacker Devon Kennard, quarterback Brett Hundley, running back Eno Benjamin, plus offensive tackles Josh Miles and Josh Jones.
The Cardinals had already ruled Kennard out for the game on Friday as he heals up from a calf injury. Daniels, Banjo and Phillips were listed as questionable heading into the game.
For the Jets, left tackle Mekhi Becton (shoulder), quarterbacks Sam Darnold (shoulder) and James Morgan, receiver Breshad Perriman (ankle), running back Ty Johnson, cornerback Bless Austin (calf) and safety Marqui Christian will not be active.
New York announced that veteran backup Joe Flacco would start in Darnold’s place.
