Kansas City Chiefs fullback Anthony Sherman has been added to the Reserve/COVID-19 list, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The report is the latest coronavirus-related addition following a stretch that saw multiple games rescheduled and marquee players miss time for the same reason.

One of those teams was the Tennessee Titans, who were forced to shut down in-person operations and reschedule their game against the Buffalo Bills for Tuesday night following a coronavirus outbreak within the players and staff.

And now for the second consecutive week, the Bills are facing possible uncertainty as to when they will be playing, as Buffalo is scheduled to host the Chiefs next Monday night.

Another team that has had to reschedule a game and lost key players due to a positive coronavirus test is the New England Patriots.

The six-time Super Bowl champions were without quarterback Cam Newton — coincidentally against the Chiefs — in Week 4 and cornerback Stephon Gilmore contracted COVID-19 prior to the team’s Week 5 bye.
