The Arizona State University Sun Devils are still on the outside looking in, when it comes to cracking the AP top-25 poll.
The Sun Devils, who kick off its 2020 season on Nov. 7 against the 23rd-ranked USC Trojans, are in the “others receiving votes” category of this week’s poll.
The only Pac-12 teams in this week’s poll are Oregon, who is ranked 15th, and the Trojans. Clemson continues to lead the poll, as they have in each of the AP’s six releases to-date.
Alabama, Notre Dame, Georgia and Ohio State round out the top-five of this week’s poll. Of the five, only Georgia has lost a game, falling to Alabama, 41-24 on Saturday night.
Other Pac-12 programs on the outskirts of this week’s AP poll include Utah, Washington, California and Stanford.
