Cody Bellinger swung his bat at a wasp in Game 6 of the World Series

Ah, 2020, you never stop, do you?

During Game 6 of the World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Tampa Bay Rays, the Dodgers’ Cody Bellinger came up to bat in the bottom of the fifth inning.

After a first-pitch ball, Bellinger stepped out before getting back into the box and got his rhythm going as he waited for Rays starter Blake Snell to deliver pitch number two.

While he did so, a wasp came right near his head. Like most humans would do, Bellinger flinched.

And like most humans with a bat would do, he took a swing at it, to the amusement of the crowd in attendance.

FOX play-by-play man Joe Buck was there to make the obvious fill-in of wishing it wasn’t a murder hornet.

Us too, Joe.
