Magic, 76ers introduce new City Edition jerseys for next season

The Orlando Magic and Philadelphia 76ers are the two latest NBA teams to unveil their alternate City Edition jerseys.
The Magic have continued to lean into a transition for their colors including orange, with this alternate the biggest leap yet.
In a nod to the infamous mid-90s jerseys in the days of Shaquille O’Neal and Penny Hardaway, the pinstripe look is back, this time in orange.

The change in text across the center is to an abbreviation of Orlando, “Orl,” with a star at the end featuring some Disney-like font. The highlight of the jersey is a revised Magic logo on the shorts featuring shades of orange and the blue of old.
The 76ers showed the proper way to do a jersey reveal on social media.
After teasing the jersey with All-Star guard Ben Simmons’ strong reaction on his first look, they released a full video on Tuesday featuring Simmons that was narrated by Allen Iverson.

The cherry on top for the new look was a current-day Iverson in the jersey, photoshopped onto a mock cover of his iconic SLAM Magazine cover from 20 years ago.
