In a stacked Pacific Division, the Phoenix Suns are coming for the crown and LeBron James knows it.
Suns GM James Jones has spent the offseason building a team ready to break a decade-long playoff drought with the veteran additions of Chris Paul, Jae Crowder, E’Twaun Moore and Langston Galloway.
And the four-time MVP James had nothing but good things to say about the work his former teammate has put in.
“My guy James Jones has done a hell of a job over there,” James said during on Uninteruppted’s “Road Trippin'” podcast this week.

Jones and James have been longtime friends, reaching the NBA Finals seven consecutive times while teammates in Miami and Cleveland.
“He’s done a hell of a job in not only acquiring CP3 but he is building that team,” James said. “He’s got some really, really good things going on over there to add to the All-Star, future superstar Devin Booker.”
The Lakers are set to have a dangerous lineup this season led by James, Anthony Davis and Marc Gasol, but the Suns have an answer with Paul, Booker, Crowder, Mikal Bridges and Deandre Ayton as their core.
The Suns will face the defending NBA champion Lakers in two games during the preseason on Dec. 16 and Dec. 18.
