Although the Arizona Cardinals were officially eliminated from contention to win the NFC West, their victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday kept them in firm control of their playoff destiny.

Though Arizona remains in the seventh and final playoff seed with two games left and a 8-6 record, Week 15 eliminated several teams from sneaking up on them.

The Chicago Bears (7-7) and Minnesota Vikings (6-8) remain in the running to catch the Cardinals after Chicago took a meeting between the two squads on Sunday.

Those are the only two NFC teams outside of the NFC East division still in contention for a playoff berth.

Washington (6-8), along with the New York Giants (5-8), Dallas Cowboys (5-9) and Eagles (4-9-1) all remain in the mix to make the postseason.

Seattle’s win against Washington cemented the Seahawks (10-4) will earn a playoff berth, while the 9-5 Los Angeles Rams’ defeat to the previously winless New York Jets slid them from division leaders to a Wild Card team.
