D-backs pick Trevor Bauer passes physical

The Diamondbacks’ top pick in the 2011 MLB in the 2011 MLB First-Year Player Draft is one step closer to joining the organization.

While good news, it is not exactly unexpected. Bauer has a unique delivery, but he’s not known for having health issues.

So, it would appear that the only thing standing between the former UCLA star and the Arizona Diamondbacks is ironing out the details of a contract.
