Diamondbacks targeting Oakland reliever?
PHOENIX – The Arizona Diamondbacks are believed to be buyers before the MLB trade deadline hits on Sunday.
The team is searching for pitching help and a new name has emerged.
The D-backs are rumored to be talking to the Oakland Athletics about reliever Brad Ziegler.

Ziegler has proven to be a reliable reliever over his three-year career compiling a 2.50 ERA.
If the D-backs could land Ziegler it would greatly help to improve their bullpen.
However, for the D-backs to get Ziegler, they would probably have to part with a good prospect or two which is something they are not believed to be willing to do.
