Arizona State football has reportedly dismissed sophomore linebacker Elijah Juarez from the program.
Per SunDevilSource.com, the former three-star recruit from Long Beach Poly High School was dismissed for conduct deemed detrimental to the team prior to the start of the season.
Juarez was not with the Sun Devils for either of their games this year.
The news of the dismissal comes after both safety Aashari Crosswell and cornerback Jack Jones were suspended indefinitely on Nov. 30 due to team conduct reasons, according to The Athletic’s Doug Haller.
The suspensions are reportedly not due to any legal matters, according to Devils Digest.
The reasoning behind Juarez’s dismissal and the suspensions are not yet known.
Shortly after the suspension, Crosswell decided to declare for the 2021 NFL Draft, effectively ending his ASU career.
The Sun Devils will look for their first win of the season when they head to Tucson to take on the Arizona Wildcats. Catch all the action live on Arizona Sports.
