Cardinal sin? Another receiver is off the market

The Arizona Cardinals have maintained that they are fine with the receivers currently on the roster, but it’s anyone’s guess as to how truthful their claims are.

If, in fact, the team is in the market for a wideout, their number of options took another hit Thursday.

Former Jets WR Jericho Cotchery will agree to terms today on a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers. More at ESPN.com.less than a minute ago via UberSocial for BlackBerry Favorite Retweet Reply

Cotchery was never seriously linked to the Cardinals, but he is a solid veteran who would have been a nice fit in the desert.

His signing with Pittsburgh will also hurt the Cards in their (possible) quest for another wideout, as the market will pick up for any other available player, including, say, Lee Evans?
