The Arizona Cardinals made a handful of roster moves on Saturday prior to their Week 15 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles at State Farm Stadium.
Tight end Darrell Daniels was activated from the injured reserve/designated for return list, while kicker Mike Nugent and linebacker Terrance Smith were both elevated to the active roster from the practice squad.
Running back D.J. Foster was also signed to the active roster from the practice squad as well.
Conversely, the team placed kicker Zane Gonzalez (back) and defensive lineman Jordan Phillips (hamstring) on injured reserve.
Daniels was originally placed on IR on Nov. 28 due to an ankle injury.
The tight end has six catches for 83 yards and a receiving touchdown in nine games for the Cardinals this season.
Nugent went a perfect 4-for-4 on field goal attempts and made both PATs in Arizona’s 26-7 win over the New York Giants last week.
The 15-year NFL veteran was originally drafted No. 47 overall out of Ohio State by the New York Jets in 2005 and has converted 81.1% (262 of 323) of his field goal tries.
The Cardinals host the Eagles at 2:05 p.m. with both teams fighting for their playoff lives.
