The Arizona Cardinals’ commentary duo on Arizona Sports of play-by-play voice Dave Pasch and analyst Ron Wolfley will not be calling Saturday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers due to COVID-19 exposure.

“Because of COVID-19 protocols concerning potential exposure to someone who tested positive, Cardinals radio play-by-play voice Dave Pasch and analyst Ron Wolfley will not work this Saturday’s game vs. the 49ers,” the Cardinals said in a statement.

Wolfley co-hosts Arizona Sports’ Doug & Wolf while Pasch has play-by-play duties with ESPN for the NBA, college basketball and more.

Taking the place of Pasch and Wolfley on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station will be Paul Calvisi on play-by-play alongside former Cardinals defensive end Bertrand Berry.

Saturday’s matchup pits the 5-9 49ers versus the 8-6 Cardinals at State Farm Stadium, with kickoff set for 2:30 p.m. on Arizona Sports.

The 49ers are going through a bit of a quarterback problem heading into the game. C.J. Beathard will start in place of Nick Mullens, who injured his elbow on Sunday after filling in for the injured Jimmy Garoppolo since Week 8. With Josh Johnson moved to the COVID-19 list, San Francisco will reportedly sign former Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen off Tampa Bay’s practice squad.
