The Arizona Cardinals hit the practice field Thursday with a number of key players returning in a limited capacity.

That included wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald (groin), cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick (hamstring/calf), tight ends Maxx Williams (ankle) and Darrell Daniels (hamstring), plus running back Chase Edmonds (ankle/knee). None of them practiced on Wednesday.

However, Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury on Thursday said that pass-rusher Dennis Gardeck (knee) will see his 2020 season end on the injured reserve list.

For the 49ers, they will be without a handful of players, as quarterback Nick Mullens, running back Raheem Mostert, wideout Deebo Samuel, cornerback Richard Sherman and safety Jimmie Ward have all been ruled out for Saturday’s contest.

San Francisco will start C.J. Beathard in Mullens’ place.
