Cardinals sign former Wildcat WR Gino Crump

May 30, 2012, 3:12 PM | Updated: 4:12 pm

As OTAs continue in Tempe, the Arizona Cardinals today made
a couple of changes to their roster, releasing cornerback
Korey Lindsey and signing rookie free agent wide receiver
Gino Crump out of the University of Arizona.

Crump played two seasons for the Wildcats, catching 69
passes for 610 yards and two touchdowns. All but four of
those receptions occurred in Crump’s senior season, when he
ranked tied for second on the team in receptions.

Crump also had stops at West Virginia and Glendale Community
College during his collegiate playing days.

Crump will wear jersey number 89 for the Cardinals.

Lindsey was a seventh round draft pick of the Cincinnati
Bengals in 2011, but was cut during the preseason.
