The Thursday afternoon men’s basketball game between the Arizona State Sun Devils and Washington State Cougars in Pullman has been postponed due to coronavirus developments within the Arizona State program, ASU announced Tuesday.
The Pac-12 Conference will work with both teams to find a date to reschedule the game.
Arizona State is scheduled to play Washington State in Tempe on Feb. 27.
This is the first time coronavirus developments in the Arizona State program have caused the postponement of a game for the Sun Devils this season.
Arizona State previously didn’t play Baylor in the 2K Empire Classic Tournament at the start of the season after Baylor head coach Scott Drew tested positive for coronavirus.
The Sun Devils also had a game against Utah postponed on Dec. 22 due to a positive case in the Utes program.
No announcement has been made for the Sun Devils’ game against Washington on Saturday.
