Three Arizona State Sun Devils cracked Phil Steele’s All-Pac-12 First Team on Wednesday.

Sophomore offensive lineman Dohnovan West, junior punter Michael Turk and freshman kick returner D.J. Taylor were honored for their 2020 play with first team nods.

West played a big part in helping the Sun Devils average more than 260 yards per game on the ground. Despite only playing four games, the Sun Devils managed to score 16 rushing touchdowns.

Turk marks just one of three players to make the first team for a second consecutive season. The junior averaged 47.2 yards per punt attempt, good enough for sixth in the nation. He gave opposing offenses a long field, booting 11 of his 14 punts inside the 20-yard line this season.

Taylor’s athleticism was on full display as a kick returner this year for ASU. The freshman torched the Arizona Wildcats with a 107-yard kick return for a touchdown on the opening Territorial Cup kickoff. It was the longest return across FBS this season. He also averaged 36.9 total yards per kick return attempt, pacing the Pac-12, and was fourth in FBS among players with at least five returns.

Outside of the three first teamers, senior defensive back Chase Lucas and junior defensive back Tyler Johnson were selected to the second team.

Junior running back Rachaad White, senior defensive back Evan Fields and junior defensive lineman Jermayne Lole were also recognized as third team selections.

Here’s a look at the full list of players recognized:
