Diamondbacks to give Bauer, Parker a taste of the Majors?

It looks like we may get a look at top D-backs prospects Jarrod Parker and Trevor Bauer sooner than expected.

Though neither would be eligible for the postseason roster, it appears the club could give each a taste of a Major League pennant race.

As the D’Backs continue as 2011’s best story, they may bring Trevor Bauer and Jarrod Parker up to experience the race as they prep for ’12less than a minute ago via web Favorite Retweet Reply

Parker and Bauer, starters at Double-A Mobile, are two of the team’s top prospects, and getting a look at them against Major League hitters would not be a bad idea.

The question really is if the two would be used out of the bullpen or, since they are used to pitching every fifth day, as starters.

Each could be valuable as the D-backs look to line up their starting rotation in preparation for the first round of the playoffs, making sure Ian Kennedy, Daniel Hudson and likely Joe Saunders are rested and ready to go.
