The first touchdown of the 2021 NFL playoffs featured a little razzle-dazzle from strong-armed Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
Allen managed to trick the Indianapolis Colts’ defense into thinking a designed quarterback draw was about to occur from a few yards outside the team’s end zone on a 2nd and goal play.
Little did the Colts’ defense know that Allen was setting them up for a short pass to tight end Dawson Knox, who hauled it in for a touchdown catch in the corner of the end zone.

The trick play score from Allen to Knox gave the hometown Bills a 7-3 lead over the Colts in the game’s first quarter.
Allen finished the regular season ranked fifth in the league in touchdown yards and passes, throwing for 4,544 yards and 37 touchdowns, while adding eight more scores on the ground for the Bills this season.
Knox’s touchdown grab was his fourth of the season and first of the postseason for Buffalo, giving the Bills the early lead on Saturday.
It also gave fans and non-aligned viewers an exciting first touchdown of the 2021 NFL playoffs.
