Daniel Hudson gets the nod for D-backs in Game 2

Though the move may have been expected, now it is official:
Daniel Hudson will start Game 2 for the Diamondbacks against
the Brewers Sunday.
Manager Kirk Gibson made the announcement, according to the D-backs’ Twitter page, meaning the
16-game winner will take the hill for the first time in a
playoff game.
Hudson, as you may know, can be as dominant as any pitcher
in the National League, but has been plagued by
inconsistency — and first inning struggles. The right-
hander has struggled to get the first three
outs many times this year, and cannot really afford to
put his team behind so early in a playoff game on the road.
Hudson started one game against the Brewers this season,
allowing six runs (five earned) in just four innings of
work.
