Kyler Murray may not have been able to take the field for his first ever Pro Bowl, but instead he showed off his gaming skills in this year’s virtual Pro Bowl.

Murray kicked things off for the NFC team, going up against Houston Texans QB Deshaun Watson in a first quarter matchup of Madden NFL 21.

The second-year quarterback got the NFC on the board first, converting on fourth down and using Vikings Pro Bowl running back Dalvin Cook to find the end zone.

Much like he has many times in real life, Murray ran his virtual self to get the first down.

But virtual Kyler doesn’t seem as fast as real Kyler, at least to Snoop Dogg who believes the QB’s Madden rating is too low.

“You’re supposed to be faster than that Kyler,” Snoop Dogg laughed.

Murray currently has an 82 overall Madden rating.

After Watson missed a field goal for the AFC, Murray handed the controls to NASCAR’s Bubba Wallace for the second quarter with the NFC leading, 7-6.

Murray also flexed his coaching skills, calling a play for Wallace, who then scored for the NFC with Cardinals’ standout receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

Seattle Seahawks safety Jamal Adams and long-time NFL running back Marshawn Lynch joined Murray and Wallace on the NFC team, while Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry, former NFL receiver Keyshawn Johnson and rapper Snoop Dogg rounded out the AFC team.

The NFC team took the win with a 32-12 victory, and Murray was named MVP of the game.

Murray was one of three Arizona players voted as Pro Bowlers this year, joining Hopkins and safety Budda Baker. They were all represented on the virtual rosters.
