Brady, Gronkowski set postseason touchdown record with Super Bowl TD

The first touchdown of Super Bowl LV was one the NFL world has seen many times before.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady threw an 8-yard pass to tight end Rob Gronkowski to give the Bucs’ a 7-3 lead over the Chiefs at the end of the first quarter.

Heard that before?

That’s because the two have now set a record of most postseason touchdowns by a QB-receiver duo with a total of 14 after another second quarter TD, breaking the record held previously by Joe Montana and Jerry Rice (12).

However, of the 10 Super Bowls Brady has played in, this was his first ever touchdown in the first quarter of a Super Bowl.
