Arizona State freshman Josh Christopher has been ruled out for the Sun Devils’ matchup against Oregon State on Sunday night.
The guard is sidelined with a leg injury and is listed as day-to-day, according to CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein.
Christopher, who has been dealing with a lower-leg bruise, managed to make his 15th start of the season after being a game-time decision in Thursday’s game against Oregon.
He suffered a hard fall while blocking an Oregon dunk at the rim in the first half, later coming out early in the second half and sitting out the final 20 minutes.
The freshman is the Sun Devils’ second-leading scorer, behind senior guard Remy Martin, averaging 14.3 PPG in 15 contests this season.
Freshman forward Marcus Bagley (ankle) is reportedly also out, while junior forward Chris Osten (ankle) is a game-time decision, reported the Arizona Republic’s Michelle Gardner.
The Sun Devils and Beavers tip off at 5 p.m. on Sunday in Tempe. Tune to ESPN 620 AM for all the action.
