The Phoenix Suns won’t be facing one of the Brooklyn Nets biggest stars on Tuesday night.
Forward Kevin Durant will miss the matchup due to a mild hamstring strain, the Nets announced Sunday. Durant is expected to be out for at least two games while he receives treatment.
The Nets play the Sacramento Kings on Monday before facing the Suns.

On the season, Durant is averaging 29 points per game, 7.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists.
The forward recently returned to the court Saturday after missing three games due to COVID-19 protocol. He went on to play 33 minutes and score 20 points in a win over the Golden State Warriors.
Over the course of the season, Durant has missed nine of the team’s 28 games. He missed the entirety of the 2019-20 season due to an Achilles injury.
