Well, if any coaches still have their All-Star reserves left to fill out prior to Tuesday’s reveal, Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker made a final compelling case.

Booker scored 34 points on 12-of-17 shooting in three quarters of a 132-100 win over the Portland Trail Blazers. Phoenix was up 29 by the end of the third and kept that distance, so Booker got some extra rest, finishing with 29 minutes on the night.

For the third time this month, Booker scored at least 15 points in the first quarter. On Monday, it was 17, half his final total.

Portland started with point guard Damian Lillard defending Booker, a mistake that Booker kept taking advantage of with bully ball in the post.

No matter the matchup, he was roasting them.

Booker has been getting back in that high level of form Suns fans are used to when he’s making tough shots look easy.

But he even got way in his bag against the Blazers, showing off the handle.

Booker led a 26-6 run by Phoenix to close out the third quarter that included what was perhaps his toughest make of the night.

The Suns are now 20-10 on the season.
