The Phoenix Mercury will have a slightly different look to their uniforms in 2021.

That’s because the team announced on Monday that it has added Fry’s Food Stores as a marquee jersey partner.

The logo will be featured on the front of all game uniforms and join PayPal, which is already on the left shoulder of Mercury jerseys.

However, previews of the newly-branded uniforms won’t be available until a later date.

Fry’s is the longest-tenured partner of the Mercury and becomes the team’s third jersey sponsor since becoming available in 2009.

Phoenix remains the only WNBA team to have had a marquee jersey sponsor every season since.

“Fry’s Food Stores is more than just a partner, they’re an invested supporter of women and girls, and the Phoenix Mercury,” chief operating officer Vince Kozar said in a press release.

“In Fry’s we have a partner who shares our values of equality and representation for women, whether on a basketball court, in an office or in a store. We thank them for their continued commitment to us and our shared mission, and are thrilled to make this announcement on International Women’s Day.”
