Linebacker Haason Reddick’s time as an Arizona Cardinal has come to an end.

The 26-year-old reportedly signed a one-year deal “worth up to $8 million” with the Carolina Panthers on Wednesday, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

One day later, the former Temple Owl took to Twitter to thank his former teammates, coaches and the Red Sea.

“To my guys on the Cardinals (players and staff) I appreciate you all and wish you the best of luck this season!” Reddick tweeted.

“And to the Red Sea that believed in me since day 1, you will be missed and will always hold a piece of my heart. As 1 door closes another opens. See y’all soon!”

There’s no question that Reddick is coming off of the best season of his four-year NFL career.

The former No. 13 overall pick in 2017 only amassed a combined three forced fumbles, 7.5 sacks, 16 QB hits and 18 tackles for loss in his first three campaigns in the Valley (48 games).

But after getting moved to outside linebacker, Reddick posted career highs in forced fumbles (six), sacks (12), QB hits (16) and tackles for loss (15) over 16 games last season.

He also added four passes defensed and 63 tackles (43 solo) in 2020.

Cardinals fans will get a chance to welcome him back next season when Arizona hosts the Panthers at State Farm Stadium.
