Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton had quite the game Sunday night in a win over the Los Angeles Lakers.
And he dropped 26 points on 10-of-13 shooting in unique style.
Ayton laced up a custom pair of Puma sneakers. One shoe honors his home country and the other is a salute to the Phoenix Mercury during Women’s History Month.

The purple and orange left shoe lists the names of Mercury players on the side — some were scuffed up in the 32 minutes of court time Ayton played Sunday. A Mercury logo is featured above the toes, while the back of the left shoe notes Phoenix’s three championships and reads “4 the Valley.”
The tongue is a nod to Diana Taurasi with a G.O.A.T. represented in the form of the animal goat with the No. 3 inside of it.

The right shoe reads #242ToDaWorld — the Bahamas’ area code is 242 — and features a detailed beach setting with a low-set sun, palm trees and a sailboat over a multi-colored horizon.
The shoes were designed by Katty Customs, who shared an Instagram post featuring the design process for Ayton’s shoes.
