Another member of Arizona State’s men’s basketball team has reportedly entered the transfer portal.
Junior forward Chris Osten follows Jaelen House and Taeshon Cherry as the latest, per The Athletic’s Doug Haller.
Osten came out of Lee College in Texas before transferring to Tempe this past season with immediate eligibility. With the Sun Devils losing Romello White, adding size on the frontcourt was a priority and made Osten a big-time pickup.
In 24 games played, Osten averaged 2.7 points and 2.3 rebounds per game in 16.0 minutes a night. The 6-foot-8 forward started six games for the Sun Devils.
Cherry on Thursday announced he’s committing to Grand Canyon while no news has come of a potential new school for House.
The Sun Devils also had freshman wing Josh Christopher declare for the NBA Draft.
