The Arizona Cardinals have been pegged as a team most likely to add to the secondary in a majority of mock drafts.

Pro Football Focus’ latest mock by Ben Linsey released Monday, however, has Arizona setting its sights on nabbing another weapon for the wide receiver room in Ole Miss’ Elijah Moore.

The addition of the current version of A.J. Green shouldn’t keep Arizona from looking to add receiving talent early in the 2021 NFL Draft. Moore recorded times in the 93rd percentile or better in each of the 40-yard dash, short shuttle and three-cone drills at his recent pro day. His combination of speed, quicks and toughness makes him an ideal fit in the slot in Arizona with DeAndre Hopkins, Christian Kirk and Green projected to line up outside.

The 5-foot-9, 178-pound wide receiver set career marks across the board in 2020 as a junior, recording 86 receptions for 1,193 yards and eight touchdowns. Moore averaged 13.9 yards per reception and accumulated 505 yards after the catch (fifth among college wideouts).

Moore helped his stock at Ole Miss’ pro day last month, running a 4.35 40-yard dash, while recording a short shuttle time of four seconds flat.

The addition of Moore would undoubtedly put some pressure on 2019 NFL Draft picks Andy Isabella and KeeSean Johnson, who have underwhelmed since arriving to the desert.

In their second season in the league, the duo combined for just 397 yards on 36 catches. Isabella found pay dirt twice, a career high.

Moore is the fourth wide receiver off the board in Linsey’s mock draft with Ja’Marr Chase (No. 5), Devonta Smith (No. 7) and Jaylen Waddle (No. 13) selected in the top-15.

As for the rest of the NFC West, the San Francisco 49ers get their quarterback of the future in Justin Fields at No. 3 overall. The Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks do not own a pick in the first round due to trades.
