The rookie has struggled since returning from the DL after being hit in the face with a line drive on April 28.
In four starts since May 16 opponents are hitting .386 off the young right-hander and he has lost three of the four decisions.
For the season Bradley is 2-3 with a 5.80 ERA in eight starts.
Before the first injury Bradley was 2-0, had pitched at least six innings in all three starts and had given up three earned runs.
In replacing Bradley, Ray will get the start against the New York Mets Thursday night. The D-backs host the Mets in a four-game series through the weekend.
Those games can all be heard on ESPN Phoenix 620 AM.
