The Arizona Coyotes will have a new puck drop time when they take on the Wild in Minnesota on Wednesday.
The NHL announced on Tuesday that the new start time will be 11 a.m. Arizona time.
Puck drop had originally been scheduled for 6 p.m. at Xcel Arena in St. Paul.
While the league didn’t give a reason, the rescheduling follows similar changes already made by the Minnesota Twins, Timberwolves and Wild.
On Monday, all three Twin City teams postponed their home games due to safety reasons following the fatal police shooting of Daunte Wright in a nearby Minneapolis suburb on Sunday.
