The NFL Draft is almost here!
Like most years, the focus is on the quarterback position, with some experts projecting that the first four players selected this year will be signal callers.
But defense is still important. Maybe you’ve heard the phrase “defense wins championships?”
Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons, Alabama corner Patrick Surtain II and South Carolina cornerback Jaycee Horn have good odds to be the first defensive player drafted this year.
Which leads us to this week’s Trivia Tuesday challenge — can you name the first defensive player taken in each of the last 25 drafts? Don’t worry, we’ve given you plenty of hints: year, NFL team, pick number and the school and position each played while in college. Child’s play.
You’ve got eight minutes on the clock to complete this challenge. Good luck!
