Jay Feely is not worried about who will be the Cardinals’
starting quarterback Week 1 against Seattle.
The kicker, as a guest on Arizona Sports 620’s Burns and
Gambo Thursday, said both Kevin Kolb and John Skelton are
competing for the job, and whoever is best will play.
“Both of them have different positive strengths and
different talents,” he said. “They do different things on
the field better than each other and I think it will sort
itself out.
“I don’t think anybody’s really worried about if it’s one
guy or the other.”
Everyone entered training camp figuring the competition
would need a few weeks to play out, but the idea that the
players may prefer one QB over the other was introduced by
the NFL Network’s Willie McGinist, who
said the Cards’ locker room favors Skelton.
