The Phoenix Mercury released their 2021 preseason schedule on Friday.

The three-time WNBA champions will play Sue Bird and the Seattle Storm twice, the first of which is on May 8 at Phoenix Suns Arena.

Following that contest, Phoenix then travels to Seattle to take on the Storm in a closed scrimmage on May 10 to close out the preseason.

After opening the regular season on a three-game road trip, the Mercury will take on the Connecticut Sun in their home opener on May 21.

Phoenix will follow that matchup with another home game against the Las Vegas Aces on May 26.

The Mercury plan to mimic the Phoenix Suns’ current fan plan of hosting approximately 5,000 distanced and masked fans for all their home contests in the month of May.

Phoenix Mercury 2021 preseason schedule

May 8: vs. Seattle Storm at 3 p.m. (Phoenix Suns Arena)

May 10: at Seattle Storm at 11:30 a.m.
