The National Football League released its 2021 offseason camp dates for every team on Thursday.
For the Arizona Cardinals, the most notable are a rookie minicamp from May 14-16 and a mandatory minicamp running June 15-17.
Those last three dates are the only mandatory part of camp.
Arizona has already been partaking in voluntary virtual offseason meetings and has opened its facility for players to get in individual workouts.
“Guys are working out on their own and we’re doing virtual meetings right now, so that’s the part of the offseason we’re in,” Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury said before the NFL Draft.
“We became accustomed to it last year, so we feel like it’s actually going smoother than last year. We made some adjustments to it. It’s been good to see them on there every day and starting to talk football again.”
The Cardinals have also mapped out their 10 allowed OTA workouts dates: May 25-27, June 2-4 and June 7-10.
NFL-wide, there are three phases of offseason work.
Currently, the league is in the first phase, where on-field work as a team is not yet allowed.
Phase 1: April 19-May 14 (nothing on-field)
Phase 2: May 17-21 (limited on-field work)
Phase 3: May 24-June 18 (maximum of 10 OTAs)
Mandatory Minicamp: June 8-10 or June 15-17
