The Phoenix Suns are expected to have two important players back for Game 1 of the playoffs against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Neither center Deandre Ayton nor forward Cameron Johnson is listed on the injury report, according to Arizona Sports’ Kellan Olson. The only Suns player on the report is Abdel Nader, who had an arthroscopy procedure on his right knee on April 26.

Ayton missed the final three games of the season with a sore left knee.

This season, the center averaged 14.4 points, 10.5 rebounds — 3.3 offensive — and 1.2 blocks over 30.7 minutes per game.

On Wednesday, Ayton said he felt like his body was ready for Game 1.

“I feel great, to be honest,” he said. “Doing a lot of therapy. Just exercising and doing a little rehab and bring back my confidence. And today it was a good practice. So I’m locked in and ready to go.”

Johnson is set to play in his first game since May 5. He missed the final six games of the season due to a right wrist sprain that was set in a cast.

This season, the second-year forward averaged 9.6 points while shooting 34.9% on 5.6 3-point attempts per game.

The first game of the series between the Suns and Lakers is scheduled to tip off at 12:30 p.m on Sunday. Listen live at 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
