Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton did his best Julius Erving impression in Tuesday night’s 109-102 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 2.
With just over six minutes remaining in the third quarter and the Suns trailing the Lakers by 10, Ayton found himself with the ball at the top of the key guarded by Lakers center Andre Drummond.
Ayton wasted no time, as the third-year center showed off his dribbling skills to drive past Drummond and get to the rim.
As the lane cleared and the Lakers center attempted to contest the shot, Ayton pulled out his inner Dr. J with a reverse layup up and under the basket.
