Green Bay Packers’ Aaron Rodgers shines on Celebrity Jeopardy

May 13, 2015, 9:01 AM | Updated: 9:01 am

While New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is finding his 2015 season in jeopardy, his Green Bay counterpart found himself on Jeopardy!

Aaron Rodgers of the Packers added another championship to his résume Tuesday, winning $50,000 for the MACC (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer) Fund on an episode of Celebrity Jeopardy.

The NFL’s reigning MVP was pitted against Kevin O’Leary of ABC’s Shark Tank and Mark Kelly, a retired astronaut and husband of former Arizona congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.

Rodgers missed the Final Jeopardy answer, but still finished with a respectable score of $8,399.

While Rodgers is a big fan of the show, he missed an opportunity to send a shout-out to the iconic Celebrity Jeopardy skits on Saturday Night Live — at least on the show that aired.

He got his “tribute” in during rehearsals.
