The Arizona Wildcats, Arizona State Sun Devils and Grand Canyon baseball teams are headed to the NCAA Tournament.

The Wildcats were announced as the No. 5 overall seed Monday and will be one of the hosts for the first round regionals at Hi Corbett Field.

Arizona finished the season as the Pac-12 conference champion with a 40-15 record (21-9 in conference play). This is its first NCAA tournament appearance since 2017.

The team will play host to Grand Canyon, Oklahoma State and UC Santa Barbara for the Tucson Regional, which begins Friday.

If the Wildcats win the double-elimination regional, they will then host the next round of super regionals, as top-eights seeds who advance secure hosting duties.

Arizona State earned an at-large bid after finishing the season 32-20 (16-14 in the Pac-12). The Sun Devils will head to Texas for the Austin Regional and face Fairfield first.

GCU went 29-7 in WAC play and finished the year 39-19-1 this year. The Antelopes face the Wildcats at 7 p.m. Friday. It will be their third meeting this year, as the teams split two games during the regular season.

The 64-team tournament begins Friday with 16 regional competitions. The winners advance to eight best-of-three super regionals. Those winners will move on to the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.

Of the Pac-12 conference teams, six received bids: Stanford, Oregon, UCLA, Oregon State and both Arizona teams.

Arkansas clinched the No. 1 overall seed.
